Preventative maintenance is maximizing the efficiency and return on investment of an asset. This is accomplished by daily monitoring and documentation by the operator, periodic inspections, and scheduled routine maintenance that lubricates, adjusts, repairs, or replaces critical components at an interval that gains maximum life of the component while simultaneously maximizing the efficiency and availability of the asset. In short, if it is broke it needs to be fixed or it will cost you more to fix it later.
Regards,
Mike Buck
www.mcbconsulting.com

Comment on Don't Chew Your Fingernails

I find your email newsletters and additional point of views to be very helpful especially when I need to conduct training and addressing safety issues.

Comment on All Drivers lie on their logs?

Thank you for your great articles!
